Ms. Aye Khaing Soe

Medical doctor and the director of New A1 Family Company. The company produces high quality spices and culinary products.

The business of food has a great responsibility to deliver greater safe nutritious food for consumers. In line with business responsibility, the policies and regulations should change to discourage the import and local production of unhealthy food and incentivize more local nutritious food. SBN provides a platform for how the private sector and other stakeholders can work together to improve nutrition. In Myanmar, most of the companies are Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). They lack technical expertise, and capital and have limited access to capital and certain business services.
